Regretfully with vista it could be at least a couple different things.  I've listed the solutions in order of most common....

1. try 'right-clicking' the kAuction.exe and choosing 'Run As Administrator' and see if that works.  The '.exe' is in kAuction's folder (C:\Program Files\kAuction)

2. Go to Control Panel, then click on 'Turn User Control on or off ' (UAC).  Click on turn 'User Control on'.  Click OK and reboot.
