some eBay changes in newest update!
- LOTS of changes to the item record, etc. DO NOT USE 'Calculated
Shipping' in the item records shipping section. It doesn't work.

General kAuction update information:
- Note: You don't need to download every update. Download if something has changed on eBay and I posted a fix to it, or if you want the features I have added to the newest update.
- New help file is also available, at the bottom of the page.
- These updates are for current users only. If you don't have kAuction installed, downloading these will not help you! They won't do anything, you need a full installation.

Steps to download and install:
- make sure kAuction is closed. If you are using kAuction's built-in browser, please use a separate browser and close the kAuction program.
- download the new main program
by clicking link above

when prompted, choose to save the file to disk

save the file to your kAuction directory (usually C:\Program Files\kAuction)
-
when asked if you want to overwrite the existing file, click yes
-
if it won't let you overwrite it, delete the original kAuction.exe from the kAuction directory first, then copy or move the new file to the kAuction directory
-
IMPORTANT: You also should get the new help file below if needed.

- download by RIGHT-CLICKING here (211kb) >>

with Internet Explorer, choose to 'Save Target as..' from the pop-up menu.
with Netscape Navigator, choose 'Save Link as...' from the pop-up menu.
save the file to kAuction's directory. You must save it to the same directory that contains kAuction's executable file. (It will most likely be 'C:\Program Files\kAuction')
when asked if you want to overwrite the existing file, click yes
if it won't let you overwrite it, delete the original help.htm from the directory first, then copy or move the new file to the kAuction directory.

| To add the latest categories
to your category picker, follow these steps: |
- new cat picker wasn't working right, so put up old one until I can figure it
out.
- download by RIGHT-CLICKING here >>

with Internet Explorer, choose to 'Save Target as..' from the pop-up menu.
with Netscape Navigator, choose 'Save Link as...' from the pop-up menu.

make sure to save it with the name cat.htm (NOT cat.html as some download software tries to name it)
when asked if you want to overwrite the existing file, click yes
if it won't let you overwrite it, delete the original cat.htm from the directory first, then copy or move the new file to the kAuction directory.
you will have to be ONLINE now to access categories. sorry about this, but ebay changes them DAILY now....the good thing is, you'll never need another category picker update!
