Your database is what keeps your information safe and if it is stored incorrectly (or, heaven forbid, not built on a database at all) then your most important business asset (information) is at risk. Databases store information in a VERY PARTICULAR method. If you do not store the information in the correct manner, it will be worthless when you want to use it in the future. kAuction is built on a well-designed Microsoft Access database (you DO NOT need MS Access to run kAuction, it comes with all the needed database files.) It stores all of your auction, item, customer, and sale records... safely and forever.
